About HCUA
The Hillsborough County Umpires Association (HCUA) is based in Tampa, Florida, and is the premier association for High School fastpitch softball in Hillsborough County. We service every public High School in Hillsborough County and some private schools.
We have been in existence for more than 25 years and our members are some of the highest quality officials in the nation. Many of our members also officiate at the collegiate level. For many years, we have been fortunate to have two crews officiate contests at the FHSAA State Tournament.
HCUA is constantly recruiting new members and we welcome those with or without experience. Our dedicated group of officials are here to make our members the best they can be. Throughout the year, we have training sessions to help every umpire.
