1. Register as an official with the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), click here. during this process, you must select HCUA (Hillsborough County Umpires Association) as your Primary or Secondary Association. Once complete, you will automatically be enrolled in the Arbiter system and show up on HCUAs roster.
2. Complete the HCUA Membership application, see below. Fill out the application, sign, and hit the submit button and it will automatically route to our V.P. of Membership, Don Goldstein.
3. Don Goldstein will also assist you with the process of getting your background check completed to comply with the Jessica Lunsford Act. No games will be assigned if you have not completed the background check.
4. Go to the Calendar section to get important dates for meetings and training.
5. Purchase the required uniforms from the FHSAA-identified vendors.
6. Payment for your membership with HCUA is handled by our Treasurer. Contact Rich Bavilacqua.
